Kenzi Riboulet-Zemouli

Kenzi Riboulet-Zemouli has no acronym after his — otherwise unpronounceable — name. He pretends to do multidisciplinary action-research into the history, international law, and terminology of hemp (Cannabis) and these undefined things we call ‘drugs.’ From there: time, pleasure, knowledges, intellectual property and biopiracy, are not so far. Kenzi was born in Vichy (France), grew between Toulouse (briefly Amiens & Gaillac) and Alicante (Spain); he eventually landed and has remained stuck in Barn͞a (that is: Barcelona, Catalonia, ¿Spain?).

French (de par son passeport), Algerian (من جيهة أمو and by a certain societal reminder), and Catalan (adoptiu!), he once was an assiduous, accredited United Nations observer, a publicist in the meaning of ICJ statute Art. 38, a (somewhat successful) advocate for treaty changes at the World Health Organisation, and a (rather failed) activist for the rights and dignity of people who use (and/or grow, craft, trade, or just discuss) ‘drugs.’ Withdrew from activism behind dusty books in 2026.
